September 2011 and Camelback Rugby

Being the Primary President comes with some great advantages...like getting to choose your own son to sing a solo in the Fall Primary Program. Blake sang the first verse of Hand in Hand in the program and he did a perfect job! He stood at the mic and sang so clearly...it made me so proud. His great job earned him an awesome new Transformer Halloween costume. I video taped the rehearsal, but the picture below is from the day he actually performed.
One of my counselor's came up with this cute idea to give to the kids for working so hard at the rehearsal. The scripture is the theme for the year.
My boys all love wrestling. The highlight of their day is getting to rough house with their Dad. Even Bear thinks he needs to get in on the action. He yelps and jumps around and gets after Daddy if he starts getting too rough.
Here Dad....throw my rope!
Warren joined a the Camelback Rugby team and had such a great time in an organized sports program. He had never played true rugby before, so he had a lot to learn, but seemed to pick up on it quickly.
We drove up to Flagstaff to escape the heat for the day and to enjoy Daddy's rugby tournament. The day started of beautifully without a cloud in the sky, but ended up raining later. Even the fresh rain was refreshing.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to make the trip up, being so sick with morning sickness, but the change in altitude ended up doing me my heart so much good. The boys were happy to be able to play outside.
They are such cute brothers!

I just LOVE the picture below.

Warren was number 17. He would run out every so often and ask if he looked clueless out there. I don't know rugby at all, so he always looked great to me! He seemed to know what he was doing.
The afternoon got pretty cold, so I took the kids and Brogan to the car to warm up and dry off.
