We had a great, low-key visit to Colorado in early October. Most of our time was spent playing with cousins (and for me...laying on the couch feeling sick.) I did take the boys on a little photo shoot with the beautiful fall foliage for our annual Halloween card. These were the best two I got. Clayton was Buzz Lightyear and zapping the camera with his laser saying, "Pew, pew, pew!" Blake was great at striking awesome Optimus Prime poses.
To get to this great tree, we had to hike down and cross a little brooklet. It was an adventure. Blake helped me gather large rocks to toss in the water for us to cross. Life ended up becoming so hectic with the pregnancy and move that I never even sent out Halloween cards. Oh well. I'll still have the cute pics to frame for next year.
There was a lot of Wii playing.
One afternoon when we had Gavin and Dayne over, we went to the school park down the street from Grandma's house.

We tried for a group shot, but it was pretty bright, so it came out quite squinty.
Grandma tickled Blake and Jaden when they ran past her at the playground.
Such a cute face and squishy little belly! I want to kiss it! Lexie let me play with her, but sometimes fussed for her Mommy when it was time for bed. Kim and I devised a plan to have me fuss with her for a few minutes and try to get her to sleep. She, of course, wanted NONE of it and would gratefully go back to her mom and go right to sleep. "It's all part of the plan, Lex. It's all part of the plan." (Evil laugh.)
