Blake's Goosebumps

The other night, I took the kids to Subway and the fans were on full speed so Blake got a little cold. He noticed his hair standing on end and the little bumps covering his arms. Showing me his arms, he said, "What's happening to my arm?!"
I explained that they are goosebumps and they only happen when you get cold. He said, a little panicked, "Well, are they going to go away?!"

I couldn't believe that my 5 and 1/2 year old son had no concept of goosebumps until then! He's going to be getting a lot of them very soon as we move to Utah next week.

A Cute story about Clayton:

I've felt pretty yucky all day and can't seem to get over my nausea.

I laid down on our bed and I said to Clayton, "Oh Clayton! Mommy feels so yucky!"

Clayton got his little sad face and cocked his head to the side, with a little shoulder shrug and said, "Baby Bleh?"
('Bleh' is his word for 'yucky' so Baby Bleh has become the baby's nickname because I feel sick all the time.)

I nodded and he said, "I....love....you....Mommy.............Happy now, Mama?"

It was so sweet and it sure did make me feel happy. If only it would send the morning sickness packing!

(I'm 12 weeks pregnant...due early-mid May)
