I explained that they are goosebumps and they only happen when you get cold. He said, a little panicked, "Well, are they going to go away?!"
I couldn't believe that my 5 and 1/2 year old son had no concept of goosebumps until then! He's going to be getting a lot of them very soon as we move to Utah next week.
A Cute story about Clayton:
I've felt pretty yucky all day and can't seem to get over my nausea.
Clayton got his little sad face and cocked his head to the side, with a little shoulder shrug and said, "Baby Bleh?"
('Bleh' is his word for 'yucky' so Baby Bleh has become the baby's nickname because I feel sick all the time.)
I nodded and he said, "I....love....you....Mommy.............Happy now, Mama?"
It was so sweet and it sure did make me feel happy. If only it would send the morning sickness packing!
(I'm 12 weeks pregnant...due early-mid May)
