Clayton's sweet reminder

Monday morning was the first day that Blake actually cried a little when I dropped him off at kindergarten. I realized the next morning as we were driving to school that we had forgotten to pray on Monday before getting out of the car and I told Blake as much. We usually say a quick prayer that he will have a good day.

Today, we were a little late so I quickly parked and hopped out, forgetting to pray. When I went to unstrap Clayton, his arms were folded across the buckle. I said, "Come, on! We gotta go. Move your arms, Clayton." He made a grumpy face and said, "No! Ee-Ee!" For some reason, that's what he calls Jesus. I suddenly put two and two together and realized that he was reminding us to pray. When I said it out loud, the cutest, sweetest smile spread across his face. Blake and I were laughing at how cute he was.

Thank you, Clayton. I hope you'll always remind me to pray if I'm ever in too big of a hurry and forget:)
