He said, "No, I'm sorry. I forgot because I was too distracted by how the teacher spelled Firetrucks." I laughed and asked how she spelled it. I guess the board said, "Firetruck are red," and that was all he could focus on...that and keeping himself from walking up to the board to correct it in the middle of the meeting." So, basically, it was a waste of time:)
Although, he did get these pictures of the kids' self portraits. I like that Blake alternated orange and red strands of hair and captured his own beautiful blue eyes. I also love the surrounding pictures of other children's self portrait. It is always easy to spot Blake as he walks with his class when I come to pick him up because his hair shines like a brand new copper penny in the sunshine.
Funny Story: Tonight, the boys were in the other room giggling and wrestling with Daddy, when I heard them suddenly holler, "Help, Mama!" I entered to see Warren relaxing in the recliner and both boys laying on their backs, their feet pinned to the floor with a single toe of Warren's. We were all laughing that they couldn't escape the grasp of his powerful big toes!
Those Lignell toes scare the bijeezies out of me!
