Happy to hear Clayton's whiney little cry and to realize he actually slept through the night. Happy to see him standing in the crib with furrowed eyebrows. His sweaty little curls, chubby arms and fingers reaching desperately out toward...ME! Happy to feel his head on my shoulder as he let me rock him for a few minutes.
Happy to let Warren sleep in since he stayed up all night studying for finals.
Happy to know he would get up for me if I asked.
Happy that I could do such a small thing to make his day a little better.
Happy to hear Blake's jungle toy start screaching before he even came out of his room.
I was so proud to see him beaming at me from the pulpit as he sang "Mother I love you" and to later see him spotlighted in sharing time.
Happy to receive his scribbly card and to see his eyes light up as he pointed out the best parts. I could tell he took his time and tried to make it special for me.
Happy to read the sweet words of my husband and feel the warmth of his love as his arms surrounded me.
Sometimes I feel like my life is just one big wrestling match surrounded by an audience of dirty laundry.
But today, I'm HAPPY!
I'm honored that I get to be in the middle of the ring
and I just hope I can win some of the matches.
I am so Happy to be a Mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a friend...a woman.
Happy Mother's Day!

Those were very sweet words and made my day a little brighter. Thanks Kelli, Happy Mother's Day
