Christmas Day 2011

This year was our first Christmas in our own home because we have always traveled over the holidays. It was so fun to wake up Christmas morning and see presents in our own living room!
It was a bit tricky this year because we had 9:00 church. I threw some cinnamon rolls in the oven and we quickly got ready for church. We let the kids open a few things from their stockings but had them wait until after church to do the rest.
Granny and Papa joined us for breakfast and presents after church and it was so nice.
The boys got great new snowmobile helmets so Daddy can take them safely sledding.
All month long, Clayton has mentioned he wanted Santa to bring him a "big neigh neigh." Boy was he surprised and happy to find LEGEND waiting for him. He loves the song Legend sings spends a lot of time riding, brushing and feeding him.
Snuggles with Papa and Clayton's new soft horse.

I loved having the rest of the day to ourselves. We just played with toys and enjoyed the new Wii Blake got. I made a beautiful roast for dinner and we enjoyed time together with just our little family.
Seeing the toys all set up like this makes me smile. I love all the sound effects and actions when the boys play. So precious. It was a very Merry Christmas.
