Miss you

I think it is interesting how you can go to sleep one night with one plan in your mind for the next day, and suddenly you're stuffing your car full of clothes and on a ten hour road trip to Salt Lake City. Last Friday morning, Warren's "Farmor" (Grandmother in Swedish)
passed away peacefully, surrounded by family.
Marian Edith Heilbut Lignell
June 17, 1926 to March 25, 2011
She was such an amazing lady and I feel blessed to call her Farmor. Whenever she talked with someone, she made them feel like the most important person in the world. Although we will always miss having her with us, we are grateful to know of the happy reunion on the other side of the veil of this life.
Farfar chose the perfect song to express how we all feel at her passing. I was blessed to have the opportunity to perform it with her daughter Colleen, my Father-in-law Miles, uncle Chicky (Charles) and cousin Mike.

Miss you when the sun comes out. Miss you when the rain comes down.
Miss you when the days are cold. And the winter snow comes 'round.
Miss you as the flowers grow. Blossom in the spring sunshine.
And most of all I miss you,
all the time.

Sunny skies remind me of those happy day. Sunshine brings back memories of carefree ways.
Stormy clouds and walking in the pouring rain. Fill me with those happy memories once again.

Christmas time, coal fires on a frosty night. Snowflakes falling gently 'neath the pale moonlight.
Springtime flowers, buds appearing on the trees. All these things they bring back happy memories.

Miss you when the sun comes out. Miss you when the rain comes down.
Miss you when the days are cold. And the winter snow comes 'round.
Miss you as the flowers grow. Blossom in the spring sunshine.
And most of all, I miss you,
all the time.
I was lucky enough to get to go to Kristin's small baby shower. She is such a cute prego, even though she is so ready to have this baby girl!
Clayton was a crazy maniac running wild around Adriane's house. You can tell he is trying to break free of my tight grasp.
All the little girls (and Claydog) had fun dancing to princess music. They also ran around squealing really high. Clayton is not accustomed to hearing or creating such a sound. So, in an effort to play along, he made a loud, low buzzer sounding noise.
We met up with Krissy at the mall to "walk that baby out" like old times. I miss her so much, but it did my heart good to get to have some solo Krissy time.
I took the kids on the mall train and Kristin followed along behind us.
Farmor had requested that as many as possible from her family participate in the funeral service. All of her grandchildren/spouses sang, "In the Garden." Amber wrote in a beautiful harmony part and I was asked to conduct the group. It was such a fun experience to conduct a family choir. I especially loved looking at my husband as I directed.

My Farfar. I love and adore this man so much. I was so happy to get this CUTE picture of the two of us...We need to get our next CD out now because we have the perfect cover:)
Blake is such an AZ baby
Happy 32nd Birthday, Warren! We celebrated Warren's Birthday by seeing Gnomio in the morning with the kids. Then we went out to Teppanyaki with Miles, Claudia, Adam and Amber. It was tasty! Later we played Volleyball with his brothers and cousins.
Blake and Ethan...inseparable cousins.
Courtney, Natalie, Brooke, and Sarah
I was so happy and proud to snatch such a DARLING photo of the girls. The only thing missing is little Lindsey (and Baby Ashley of course)
This is the group that performed Miss You all the Time.
We had an amazing Violinist and Pianist helping out.
Sweet Warren....It did my heart so much good to see my Sweetheart all week. It reminded me of how it used to be, before school... and how it will soon be again! It was also just the break I needed to be able to make it through these last few weeks of school...37 days!
Granny and Papa.
I love Mile's mischievous little smile in this picture and it reminds me of Elliot.
