Last weekend we spontaneously went to Disneyland when one of Warren's co-workers/friends offered us four free tickets to be used immediately. We went with Elliot, Krissy, and Lindsey and all stayed together in a Motel near the park. It really could not have been more fun!
Blake, having been to Disneyland with Daddy last year, was very excited to show his brother all of the exciting things in the park.
Just outside the park, Clayton's attention was on all the fun stuff he could see just inside.
Blake gave Princess Lindsey a ride in Goofy's car.
It was pretty fun to see the kids reactions to the park and all of its magic.
Blake's favorite ride was the Buzz Lightyear ride and we got to go on it twice. He was all business as Buzz explained instructions on how to shoot the robots.
Clayton was happy as long as Mama was close by. He got a little afraid on some of the rides, but mostly he enjoyed it.
I took Blake on Space Mountain and they have changed it a lot since I went on it as a teenager. It was extremely fast, intense, and pitch black with stars everywhere. He was very nervous and squeezed my hand so tight throughout the whole thing. He DID NOT want to ride it again. I was proud of how brave he was though because my legs were shaking when we were all done.
At the end of the night, we had to walk back to the hotel a few blocks away. Blake was so tired that he was falling asleep on Warren's shoulders. His head was bobbing like he was riding a horse. When we got to the hotel, his legs had fallen asleep and he was crying as the blood painfully made its way back to his feet.
In line for Small world. This was probably Clayton's favorite ride.
Clayton loved the pit stop we made in Toon Town where he got to run and play. He was SO happy to be out of the stroller and to have free reign on the playground.
Every time he would come around to climb the stairs, he would holler a happy hello to Daddy.
Clayton and Lindsey were fighting over who could drive the toon car.
Like most men do when it comes to driving, Clayton won;)
Clayton finally passed out in the stroller for an hours. He was such a good sport all day.
I loved the Winnie the Pooh ride. I will always have a special place in my heart for the tubby yellow bear.
This is the only group shot of us that we got and it turned out really cute. I just wish I could see more of little Lindsey's face.
Looks like a fun trip!! Your boys are so stinkin' cute! And Kelli-you look great!!
