We had a fun weekend watching Lindsey while Elliot and Kristin snuck away for a quick cruise. I thought they'd like to see how much we enjoyed their little sweetheart. It was so nice to finally have another girl in the house! I love pink;)
We had several fun park adventures
We explored our huge back yard.
Clayton thought he was so big tromping around the patio with the other kids.
Lindsey had a great time exploring her artistic abilities with sidewalk chalk.
She was a great helper. She helped me load and unload the dryer a lot and even walked Clayton's toy all the way home when I asked her. Good girl!
We spent a lot of time snuggling, but she wasn't too sure of Clayton's bold yawn and arm around the shoulder trick
Clayton thought he was so big tromping around the patio with the other kids.
Who needs a double stroller when you already own a stroller build for 3?
(Check out Blake's sweet hand-me-down speedo swim team shorts. I keep hiding them, but he always manages to find them.) Clayton saw the balloons and started yelling to have one as soon as we sat down. A lady at a neighboring table came by and tied one to his stroller...probably to quiet him down.
It was a wild ride home that night.
There was a lot of squealing and happy giggles
When Lindsey realized I had the camera out, she had to stop and smooth out her bed head
Blake and Lindsey played so well together. Several times I saw Blake give her a big hug and kiss and express his love to her. It was really sweet. He told me he didn't ever want her to go home and that he liked having a sister.
(I love how Blake has his foot in the tub. He always finds a way to be silly, even when he is being calm.)
Lindsey was obsessed with making sure Clayton had his binky, even when he was perfectly content without it. Sometimes she would steal if from him, just for the joy of putting it back in...that made him a little mad.
It was so fun to have such a big dose of Lindsey. She is such a sweet girl and gives the BEST bedtimes snuggles ever! I feel so blessed to have her (and her parents) so close.
Sooooo cute! Thanks again for taking such good care of her.
