Spontaneous Thanksgiving in Utah

We had originally planned to have Thanksgiving with Warren's cousin Betsy and her family, but sickness hit their family on Tuesday before Thanksgiving. We decided to drive to Salt Lake on Wednesday around 2:30 Pm. Warren had class until 10:30 so we got a pretty late start! We arrived at Farfar's house to put up Christmas lights Thursday morning around 10:30. The kids were great travelers and we had a very memorable holiday. Blake watched movies with headphones on so Mom and Dad were able to take turns driving and getting some good rest. He's enjoying a candy cane.

We headed to Grandma Nancy's for a wonderful feast and wonderful company. She had decorated her tables so nicely with a small pumpkin on each place setting. Blake spent the whole night gathering the pumpkins and carrying them around in Clayton's blanket.
We made it home with about 25 of them and they are still floating around the house.

This was our attempt at a nice family picture in front of the Far's house...

All of the grandkids that were able to make it:
Alex, Warren, Heidi, Kai, Phillip, Abby, Gra, Blake, Spencer, Katie

Adam, Amber, Clayton, Sarah
Granny and Papa had everyone over to their house on Saturday for a wonderful Prime Rib dinner and fries. It was so delicious.
Natalie got in some good snuggle time with little Clayton
Granny played some board games with the grandchildren

Ethan and Blake devoured their banana splits.
